Essential AOV Annual Maintenance

Regular AOV inspection and annual maintenance is a critical factor in ensuring an AOV system remains compliant with EN12101, BS7346, BS5588, BS9999 and Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) 2005 mandatory requirements. ACS FIRE will thoroughly check any AOV or Mechanical Smoke Extract System to ensure it is compliant with the stringent requirements of these regulations. We will submit recommendations and a cost to bring any non-compliant systems up to current standards and then issue a certificate of compliance. ACS FIRE will then submit a cost for an annual maintenance programme which will fulfill the requirements of the current standards. Failure to maintain an AOV system could have serious consequences if the system were to fail in a fire situation. It is a mandatory requirement to regularly test an AOV system.
